Dear Ascend Community,
We’re pleased to share the latest construction progress at the Ascend Blackburn, with works continuing steadily on site:
- Unit 8–14 plastering has been completed on the first and second floors.
- Stairs are complete in all units.
- Unit 8–14 internal wet area waterproofing has been completed.
- Unit 8–14 tiling works will commence in approximately 2 weeks.
- Unit 8–14 joinery will be delivered next week.
- External waterproofing has been completed; however, an additional waterproofing layer will be applied once weather conditions improve.
- Once the external waterproofing is complete, ground floor plastering can commence.
- Units 1–7 are currently running approximately 2 weeks behind Units 8–14, with all trades to progressively transition across as works are completed.
- The external façade is now 90% complete, and the scaffolding is expected to be removed over the next few weeks.
The project’s anticipated completion is scheduled for late 2026.
