Fashion for a Cause 

The event was born out of a conversation between Abby and Zimmermann VIP Manager Julie Saleres, who suggested organising a private shopping event for the women of Marshall White. The idea quickly evolved to include a charitable component, with the Marshall White Foundation’s Trustee and Property Management Director, Paula Matlock, joining forces to make it happen.   

The gathering welcomed Marshall White colleagues and real estate industry partners, including Domain and Cooper Robinson Interiors, to shop Zimmermann’s latest collection and enjoy a delightful breakfast. With 20% of sales from the event donated to You Matter, attendees knew their purchases would directly impact vulnerable women and children in our community. This collaboration highlighted the power of coming together for a greater purpose, as Abby shared, “In our busy lives, it’s important to take a moment to connect and support a cause close to our hearts.” 

With You Matter CEO Deborah de Rossi and Chair Jackie Cook in attendance, the event raised essential funds to further the charity’s mission. You Matter focuses on aiding women and children affected by family violence, offering shelter, counselling, and legal assistance to facilitate recovery and provide long-term healing and independence for those in need. 

Launched in 2015, the Marshall White Foundation is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable community members. With You Matter as one of our charity partners, we work together to help create safe, fully furnished homes that serve as havens where women and children can find peace, security, and a foundation for new beginnings free from violence. 

The morning brought together style and purpose, proving that small actions can inspire meaningful change.
